Dual-Degree Programs

Stetson University College of Law provides three programs for students to pursue two degrees simultaneously.

J.D./M.B.A.

Students who complete the J.D./M.B.A. dual-degree program receive both an M.B.A. degree from the Stetson University School of Business Administration and a J.D. degree from the College of Law.

Students in the program enjoy a significant savings in required course work. Both degrees can be completed within three years, including one summer.

J.D./M.P.H.

The J.D./M.P.H. dual-degree program is operated in cooperation with the University of South Florida College of Public Health. Students who complete the program will receive a J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law and an M.P.H. degree from the University of South Florida.

Students enroll in the program enjoy a significant savings in required course work. Both degrees can be completed within four years. Students must apply separately to Stetson's J.D. program and USF's M.P.H. program, and all admission requirements for both programs must be satisfied (including LSAT and GRE requirements). On both applications, students must indicate that they are applying for the J.D./M.P.H. dual-degree program.

J.D./M.D.

The J.D./M.D. dual-degree program is operated in cooperation with the University of South Florida College of Medicine . Students completing the program will receive a J.D. Degree from Stetson University College of Law and an M.D. Degree from the University of South Florida.

Students electing to apply to the dual-degree program will enjoy a significant savings in required course work. Both degrees can be completed within six and one-half years.

In order to be accepted into the dual-degree program, you must separately apply to Stetson's J.D. program and USF's M.D. program. All entrance requirements for both programs must be satisfied, including the LSAT and MCAT requirements. On both applications, students must indicate that they are applying for the J.D./M.D. dual-degree program.

Applications for USF's M.D. program can be found the College of Medicine Admissions site.  Any questions concerning the requirements of the USF degree should be directed to the College of Medicine.
