Stetson University College of Law requires master's degree applicants to submit foreign transcripts through www.naces.org/. Transcripts for all post-secondary education completed outside the United States (including its territories) or Canada must be evaluated through this service. Foreign course work through study abroad, consortium or exchange programs sponsored by U.S. or Canadian institutions are exempt from this requirement, provided that the work is clearly indicated on the home campus transcript.

One entering class is admitted each year, with the application for this year due by July 1, 2009. Applications are considered on a rolling basis and applicants will be notified of their acceptance by Aug. 1, 2009. A $500 non-refundable deposit will be required upon acceptance.

All applicants are advised that the Master of Jurisprudence in Law and Aging is a master's degree, not a law degree. This degree does not entitle the holder to practice law, sit for a bar exam, or in any way perform the services that a lawyer provides. Courses completed as part of this degree may not be counted toward a J.D. or LL.M. degree.
