Document Delivery Service
At no charge for Stetson alumni, the libraries will locate and fax, mail or e-mail:
- Cases
- Law Review articles
- Sections from treatises, looseleafs or other resources
Circulation Privileges
Alumni have borrowing privileges for all Stetson Law Library circulating materials. An Attorney-Stetson Library Card, which will be issued to any alumni, or a Florida Bar Card, is required to check out materials. You may request Gulfport or Tampa items, and they will be sent to the other library for pick-up or use. Remember, not all materials circulate, but we can send most between the two libraries for your use.
Research Assistance
Reference librarians are available to provide reference assistance to Stetson University College of Law alumni at any time. Requests may be made in person, by phone, fax or e-mail.
Access to our "card" or online catalog is available from anywhere. Please remember to note the complete information about any items you might be requesting; many texts have similar titles.
Photocopy and Computer Printing Access
Guest passwords are now available for Stetson alumni photocopying and printing. Forms will be provided to record the number of copies made or pages printed. The cost of copies or printed pages is 10¢ per sheet. These costs will be billed to personal or firm addresses as provided on the Alumni Copy/Print Forms.

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
